Overnight Oats

I have these every morning. You can eat them cold, but I love having them heated. The great part about them, because they are soaked overnight, they are easier to digest. I find this great when training or racing. No added sugar and keeps me full.

In the weekend I measure out my oats and chia seeds and keep enough jars in the pantry for the week. Makes life that little bit easier.

Let me know if you come up with a different combination.

Ingredients
50g rolled oats
2 teaspoons chia seeds
½ cup frozen blueberries
Milk (cows, almond, soy)
350ml jar with lid

Method
  1. Measure out rolled oats and chia seeds into a jar
  2. Add blueberries and milk and stir with a teaspoon. I like to fill my milk all the way to the top of the jar.
  3. Place lid on jar and put into the fridge overnight. I make mine in the morning for the following day, that way I don’t forget.
  4. In the morning I empty the jar into a bowl and heat in the microwave on high for 2 minutes.
